A major conservative think tank has cracked the free speech problem on British and American campuses: all we need is to have a conversation and try to understand social justice warriors, then they’ll listen and come round.
Why haven’t we thought of that earlier?
A recent report by the Bow Group blasted ridiculing SJWs and saying they are “coddled” or “need thicker skin” – because it’s not an effective way to win them over (although it is true).

The think tank acknowledges that such students are a threat to academic freedom, but insists that “their movement is undoubtedly bound by principled rationale”.
To reverse the trend of illiberal campus politics, the group proposed giving their ideas “greater attention” and return to “respectful discourse”.
However, the Bow Group appears to have forgotten that “respectful discourse” is not particularly common among SJWs, who prefer to disinvite people, cause disruption, ban things and generally shout down their opponents.
