Revealed: Anarchist Plot to Trash Trump’s Scotland Trip

Anarchist protesters are planning to create havoc at for Donald Trump at a PR event in Scotland tomorrow.

As many as 300 people could show up at the GOP candidates golf course in Ayrshire, Scotland, on Friday morning – a sub-set of whom are dedicated to violent protest.

Insiders at a peaceful event designed to show their displeasure at Trump told Heat Street of their fears that more hardline attendees could hijack proceedings.

Tensions will be high in Trump’s security detail after a British man allegedly tried to assassinate him in Las Vegas last weekend, especially given the fierceness with which many Scottish locals resent him.

Trump is due to cut a ribbon and pose for photos at a luxury resort he runs in Turnberry, Ayrshire, tomorrow, before potentially moving to Aberdeen, where he has a second resort.

The singer Cher also expressed her anger at Trump’s impeding visit:

But even before he shows his face in the UK, dissent is on the rise.

Earlier this week, Scottish locals raised Mexican flags over Trump’s Aberdeen course golf course in protest of his politics and business activities that angered local residents:

Scotland has a long history of anti-Trump protests, partly dating from bitter opposition to development of his Aberdeenshire course.

Possibly the most noted moment of recent Trump history saw The Donald’s hair messed with by a protester using a balloon primed with static electricity:

Tomorrow’s mass protest, which has 250 confirmed attendees, and hundreds more who may arrive, is being organized by the far-left British movement Stand Up To Racism.

An event page says protesters are responding to Trump’s attempt to bring “the politics of the gutter to the mainstream”, and “to show that Donald Trump’s brand of bigotry is not welcome in Scotland.”

According to one protester, who’s taking a key role in organising the event against Trump during the stay, several protester groups have “got together for this” but “radicals will be there also”.

The insider also claimed the demonstrators have “several plans” prepared for a protest and will do their utmost to “maintain our strict discipline” to avoid retreating to violence.

He then added: “although the anarchists are a law unto themselves”.

The protester decline to reveal his plans in detail.

Scottish police are due to be on hand to manage the event, and have reportedly been in touch to coordinate with protest groups.
