Rejoice, for the Spice Girls have returned and are ready to kick some once again.
But, beware, Girl Power is a bit more, well, problematic than it was in the carefree ’90s.
Even the pop stars’ nicknames are anathema. As some very wise social media commentators observed, it’s not OK to call a black woman “Scary Spice”, regardless of what her opinion of it happens to be.
