A coup for both the UK’s biggest gay publication and the Royal Family PR machine – Prince William is the cover star of Attitude Magazine.
The future king graces the front page, all smiles, and grants an interview in which he promotes tolerance, acceptance, and being allowed to fit in.

However, longtime Attitude fans may notice a crucial aspect in which William does not fit in with the usual cover star – he’s still got all his kit on.
Indeed the strikingly modest photo shows only the royal’s face and shoulders, the only hint being a generously unbuttoned shirt.
While it’s by no means a requirement to disrobe for Attitude readers’ consumption, there is certainly a strong pedigree of doing just that:

Indeed, the revitalising effects of an Attitude cover can be a PR coup – as Harry Potter actor Matthew Lewis, formerly dweeby Neville Longbottom, discovered when his shoot last year was met with gushes of adoration:
