Meghan Markle has sparked speculation over her rumored romance with Prince Harry with a new social media update.
The American actress is reportedly dating the British royal, who she apparently met in Toronto, Canada in May, where her TV drama Suits is filmed, when Harry was visiting the city to promote the 2017 Invictus Games.
Meghan, 35, has now fanned the flames of romance by sharing some cryptic messages with her one million followers on Instagram.
One picture, featuring two bananas in the spooning position, is captioned “sleep tight” with two kisses, while another snap features an image of a very British cup of tea in a cup and saucer all next to an elephant-shaped teapot.
Accordingly, some of her fans have been quick to spot some implied messages in the posts, which were uploaded on Tuesday .
One user, commenting on the picture of the bananas, said: “Is that message for your red hair prince?” Another said: “You and Prince Harry.” The posts come as Meghan’s estranged sister Samantha Markle, 51, appeared to confirm the relationship in a comment to The Sun, saying her father had known for months.
“My father has known for five months. When it came out, dad said: ‘I knew it was Harry, I just didn’t say anything,'” she said. “She always preferred Harry – she has a soft spot for gingers.”
Earlier on Tuesday, in an interview with the Vancouver Sun about the launch of her new clothing collection, Meghan said she was looking forward to seeing her family and traveling in December but made no mention of a potential boyfriend. Adding she would be traveling to India and filming a seventh series of Suits, she said: “So, my cup runneth over and I’m the luckiest girl in the world!”
Kensington Palace has said it will not comment on private matters and Meghan has not confirmed or denied the reports since they emerged.
