Labour MP Harriet Harman was talking nonsense about the EU again last night.
In a debate with Brexiteer Steve Hilton on Channel 4 News Harman said: “I am here because I am concerned about people’s jobs, and I’m also concerned about people’s rights at work, because unlike you, the EU has been a strong friend for women at work and we need those guarantees.”
Harman had nothing positive to say about the EU.
She just trotted out a load of answers to arguments that the Leave side have never even made.
Nobody has said workers’ rights will be changed if Britain quits the EU.
It’s not been a good week for Harman, who is technically David Cameron’s cousin.
On Sunday she admitted she couldn’t name any of the people who run the EU.
Yet she expects the electorate to vote to stay in the EU on June 23 anyway.
Consider this:
Less than a year ago, Harman wrote to George Osborne demanding that he give more taxpayers’ cash to the rotten charity Kids’ Company.
Need any more be said about her judgment?
