It’s the biggest question coming out of Sunday night’s debate, other than where can you buy Kenneth Bone’s red sweater (Amazon).
Has Donald Trump purposely and maliciously “misgendered” Hillary Clinton?
Washington Post blogger Chris Cillizza appears to think so. Appearing on MSNBC’s Morning Joe Monday, he said the use of female pronouns might hurt Trump with certain voters, especially women.
Trump repeatedly referring to Clinton as "she" and "her" — has to be on purpose. Just not sure why.

He said: “He [Donald Trump] kept referring to Hillary Clinton as ‘’she,’ ‘her,’ – which was a concerted strategy, I’m not sure why.”
“He needs independents, he needs women,” Cillizza argued. “There’s just not much there last night that I think would convince you if you were not for him previously, particularly if you’re a woman.”

@seanmdav Trump never even asked what Clinton's pronouns were!

So what pronouns should Trump have used to describe the cisgendered, heteronormative Democratic nominee for President? Heat Street has approached Clinton’s campaign asking to confirm what are her preferred pronouns.
