A middle school student from the Palm Beach, Florida area has confessed to the local sheriff’s department to throwing a block of wood at President Donald Trump’s motorcade on Friday.
On Friday as the president and his motorcade drove from Palm Beach International Airport to Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s “Weekend White House”, someone hurled the block of wood at one of the passing vehicles, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. The press pool report on Friday initially suggested that the hurled object may have been a rick.
Once the president was safely home, authorities returned to the scene of the crime to gather evidence and identify witnesses. According the sheriff’s office, they found this wooden block measuring about 2 by 4 inches:

Officials say that the youth who confessed to the attack on the president has also pointed the finger at four other students.
The Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office will decide whether any charges are filed in the case, according to the sheriff’s office.
