A Gofundme page set up by popular YouTuber Philip DeFranco, raised $140,000 for the legal defense fund of H3H3Productions.
H3H3 was sued earlier this week by the “Dumbest Guy on YouTube” Bold Guy aka Matt Hosseinzadeh for using segments of one of his YouTube videos for a video making fun of him.

H3H3’s cohosts Ethan and Hila Klein say they will use some of the money for their upcoming trial and keep the rest in a fund that other YouTubers can be used to fight further fair use claims.
The Kleins received an outpouring of support from the YouTube community, with many e-celebrities donating thousands of dollars each. Even YouTubers H3H3 has roasted in the past, like Leafyishere and The Fine Bros, chipped in.
