Tekken Producer Triggers IGN Journalist With SJW Joke

Tekken 7’s female characters will be getting bikini skins in the Japanese version of the yet-to-be-released title. In response to a fan’s question on whether Western versions would have a similar feature, the game’s producer, Katsuhiro Harada, made a very prescient joke about how it would be received by the keyboard warriors of Europe and America.

And of course someone was offended.

Luckily the brave white knight journalist at IGN, Gav Murphy, stepped in to protect the sensibilities of those who might not be “beach body ready.”

In true game journalist fashion, Murphy proceeds to insult a series that is a staple of the genre, beloved by both fans and critics alike, all for mildly opposing his social justice agenda. And in true SJW fashion, he spent all day arguing about it with anime avatars on Twitter.

You may be saying at this point, “Hey it’s just a stupid Twitter slapfight, who cares?” Well, there are victims to these things. Twitter user @KungFuNoodlez was lifted to the heights of euphoria only to sink to the depths of despair. Thanks SJWs!
