But one of the game’s targets is not taking the satire well: none other than internet villain pharma bro Martin Shkreli.
Watch Dogs includes a mission where you hack the phone of despised pharma exec “Gene Carcani” and trick him into donating $2 million to charity when he thinks he’s buying an exclusive copy of a hip hop album.
“He’s the shitsac who’s on TV laughing about how he’s raising the price on leukemia medicine,” is how one of the game’s characters describes Carcani.
It’s an obvious dig at Shkreli and his sole copy of Wu Tang Clan’s “Once Upon a Time in Shaolin.”
The Shkrelster did what he does best and made a super long and tedious livestream reacting to the game.
Instead of laughing off the burn like normal humans do, Shkreli decided to trash the game like a spoiled child who struck out in tee-ball.
“Pretty lame,” he said. “But I’m glad I’m in a video game.”
But then later on Twitter he said what he really feels.

Watch Dogs responded to Shkreli, causing a short but sweet online slap fight.
