Social justice warriors are up in arms because the misogynist patriarchal overlords at Ubisoft (makers of Assassin’s Creed and Watchdogs) apparently deigned women not important enough for their customer survey. When taking the survey if you chose “female” as your gender the survey would take you to a screen saying “your profile does not suit for this survey.”
Oh, wait… it was actually just a harmless computer glitch. We can all put down our torches and pitchforks.
Despite this tech issue being fairly benign, it did not stop Twitter users from making this into a larger indictment of sexism in the game industry.
So is Ubisoft a bunch of sexist monsters or just a harmless corporation that sucks at making surveys? Take our survey to find out!
