I had always thought signing a petition on Change.org was a waste of one of life’s fleeting, precious moments. Like writing to your congressman or voting.

But boy was I wrong — which I realized when I found the ‘Victories‘ page on Change.org’s website. Apparently they’re making a huge difference for society. Yay, internet FTW!

1. Change.org got a waffle maker for Mr. Pfeifer’s math class

No child in Middle America should be without waffles. Thank you Change.org!

2. Started a breast pump recycling program

Ever since I heard about the Great Pacific Breast Pump Patch, I knew something had to be done about all these unrecycled breast pumps. Mother Earth would be proud.

3. Brought back preferred parking for season pass holders at Hershey Park

Ugh, season pass holders should never have to park next to the dirty commoners with regular tickets. Lives changed!

4. Discontinued a dolphin trainer Barbie

Good on you Change.org! Little girls need to learn at a young age that dolphins are vile creatures that should never be trusted.

5.  Helped a pro-parents-with-tattoos Facebook page get more followers than the group called ‘Your Tattoos Make You a Horrible Mother’

Finally, someone brave enough to say that people with tattoos are not in fact terrible parents.

6. Stopped ’30 minutes or its free’ policy at South Korean dominoes

Yeah, you tell ’em Change.org! South Koreans gotta wait over 30 minutes for their pizza like everybody else.
