‘Game of Thrones’ Star Sophie Turner Wants to Fight Donald Trump

If she were a superhero in real life, and not just in X-Men Apocalypse, Sophie Turner says she’d pick Donald Trump as her ideal super-villain.

The Game of Thrones star, who also plays a young Jean Grey in the latest X-Men movie, told reporters on Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood red carpet that she believes the world needs some serious super-help, and Trump should be the first target.

If @sophiet had the powers of her X-Men character she would take on Donald Trump.

“Oh, my God, I think the world needs fixing,” Turner told reporters. “Donald Trump would be out of the country. And we’d create a wall around him so he couldn’t escape.” (Turner followed up by suggesting people should just build an ark and ride out the current world in hopes of a new, less Trump-y one.)

In her showdown with Trump, Turner seems focused on her role with the X-Men movie—when Game of Thrones has more apt comparisons. Sure, Marvel has a Trump-like character worked into the new Spider-Gwen graphic novel, but it’s really Aeron Greyjoy who best adopts Trump’s signature line with his “Make the Iron Islands Great Again” rhetoric.

And Sansa versus a land-locked Aeron Greyjoy would be an epic battle. Jean Grey would just tunnel into Trump’s mind and send him packing to a far-off galaxy.
