Hillary Clinton surrogates should form a “Sanders Truth Squad” in order to challenge Bernie Sanders on his “non-facts,” former Clinton aide Lanny Davis suggested in an email published by WikiLeaks.

Davis sent the email to a number of top Clinton campaign aides in February 2016, when Hillary was locked in a fierce primary battle against the insurgent socialist from Vermont.

Davis argued that the “Sanders Truth Squad” could help the Clinton campaign win over young voters by attacking Bernie’s “misleading ‘free’ proposals that will substantially raise middle class taxes or leave Millennials with trillions of dollars of debt to pay off for the rest of their lives.”

Bernie Sanders is mentioned in a number of the Clinton campaign emails published by WikiLeaks.

Lanny Davis, it’s worth noting, is one of the most obnoxiously obsequious foot soldier in the Clintons’ massive army of sycophants. The state department released a particularity nauseating email form Davis to Hillary, in which Davis asks his “dear friend” to speak to reporter who was working on an article about him for the prestigious American Lawyer magazine. Here’s a snippet:

The honest to goodness truth is, Aside from Carolyn, my four children, and my immediate family, I consider you to be the best friend and the best person I have met in my long life. You know that from the dedication and appreciation of you I have always felt and expressed to you over four decades. So that is why your comments would mean a lot to me, even if just a written statement.
