“White anchor” Tomi Lahren’s appearance on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah has been the subject of some controversy. Many liberals thought Noah had “destroyed” or “eviscerated” the outspoken 24-year-old conservative pundit, while conservative outlets thought the South Dakota native got the better of Jon Stewart’s replacement.
Controversy continues to swirl around the contentious interview. The Ringer, for example, is taking Noah and bombastic radio host Charlamagne Tha God to task for their efforts to befriend Lahren, and for getting “played” by the young right-wing media icon.
TMZ spotted Noah and Lahren grabbing drinks following their televised bout, and Lahren appeared with Charlamagne in photos The Ringer described as “arguably flirtatious.”
Some have suggested this description would be considered “sexist” if the University of Nevada-Las Vegas graduate was not an outspoken supporter of Donald Trump.

“Many observers have chosen to interpret the two photos — plus the TMZ footage of her and Noah, and her walking with Charlamagne in Times Square — as proof that these dudes have entertained Lahren’s politics for the brief affection of a pretty, blond, white woman,” writes Ringer scribe Justin Charity.
Some were outraged after TMZ asked Lahren following her post-show summit with Noah if she had ever “been with a black guy.” She was refused to answer, but did say she was not currently in a relationship. Noah has previous discussed being in an “open relationship” with his girlfriend, model Jordan Taylor, who he has been dating for more than year.
Intrigue continues to shroud the momentous mingling of media celebs, and many questions remain.
