Few people apart from Trump actually believed the polls at the time, but they turned out to be pretty accurate, and he won the GOP nomination. No one thought it was possible, but it happened.

Now that Trump has entered a general election matchup against Hillary Clinton, the polls haven’t been so kind him. He’s losing by an average of eight points, which isn’t great. Predictably, the Donald’s opinion of polls in general has soured in recent weeks. He’s not a fan. Maybe they’re rigged, and part of a grand conspiracy by the mainstream media to steal the election for Hillary Clinton.
