Vox dot com is an online blog for left-of-center political elites featuring “the smartest thinkers, the toughest questions.” Vox has broadened the traditional ethos of liberal journalism — “speaking truth to power” — by aggressively defending powerful center-left politicians such as Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, and by taking money from corporate sponsors.
Sometimes their headlines can be indistinguishable from Democratic press releases.
Vox didn’t like the AP report on Hillary meeting with Clinton Foundation donors while serving as secretary of state, and neither did Hillary Clinton’s press secretary.
Vox was quick to point out that the $400 million cash payment the U.S. government delivered to Iran in exchange for the release of four American prisoners did not fit the definition of a “ransom,” citing a U.S. government spokesman who denied it was a ransom.
For almost two years now, Vox (and the Obama administration) have insisted that the terrorist group ISIS is “losing.”
In reality, ISIS seems to be doing pretty well.
