Bernie Sanders probably won’t win the Democratic nomination this year, but he’s going to come a lot closer than most people expected. That’s mostly due to the fact that Hillary Clinton just isn’t very likable.

In fairness to Bernie, though, he’s also managed to assemble an enthusiastic coalition of bearded bros who live at home, drum circle attendees, and Tim Robbins. They like free stuff, they want other people to have free stuff, and they want to pay for it by raising taxes on people they don’t like. Bernie is the candidate for them.
