Donald Trump had a “blank space” next the position of health and human services secretary, so he wrote the name of Georgia congressman Tom Price.
The president-elect’s nominee for health secretary is a medical doctor and fierce opponent of Obamacare. He also identifies as a “big Taylor Swift fan.”
Price acknowledged his Swift fandom in February 2013 during a meeting with reporters at the National Review office in Washington, D.C. “I’m a big Taylor Swift fan,” Price said when asked about his taste in music. “Don’t tell anybody,” he added with a laugh.
After coming clean during the meeting, Price noted on Twitter that he had seen Swift perform in concert “3 or 4 times so far.”
3 or 4 times so far. RT @nielslesniewski: @rebeccagberg @RepTomPrice how many times have you seen @taylorswift13 in concert?

The congressman isn’t just a fan of Swift’s music, he’s also an avid observer of the pop star’s social life. He wasn’t pleased, for example, in 2012 when Swift started going out with Conor Kennedy, a member of the famed political dynasty. “I prayed when she started dating a Kennedy that that would end,” he told reporters at the 2013 meeting.
Donald Trump, it’s worth noting, has also expressed an emotional investment in the relationships of teen starlets.
Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again–just watch. He can do much better!

Robert I'm getting a lot of heat for saying you should dump Kristen- but I'm right. If you saw the Miss Universe girls you would reconsider.

Everyone knows I am right that Robert Pattinson should dump Kristen Stewart. In a couple of years, he will thank me. Be smart, Robert.

Given his opposition to Obamacare, there will probably be some “bad blood” between Price and Senate Democrats during his confirmation hearing next year, but the congressman, who is a popular choice among Republican lawmakers, will have no choice but to “shake it off.”
