It would appear the White House transition honeymoon period is over for President Obama and his successor Donald Trump. The reality television star and president-elect lashed out at Obama in a Twitter rant Wednesday morning, less than a month before he is set to be inaugurated.
“Doing my best to disregard the many inflammatory President O statements and roadblocks,” Trump tweeted. “Thought it was going to be a smooth transition – NOT!”

Among the “inflammatory” actions Trump is referring to are the president’s decision not to veto a United Nations resolution rebuking Israel, as well as Obama’s recent suggestion that he could have beaten Trump in a head-to-head race, which was also a not-so-subtle dig at Hillary Clinton.
President Obama said that he thinks he would have won against me. He should say that but I say NO WAY! – jobs leaving, ISIS, OCare, etc.

Trump’s Twitter tirade marks a change in tone with respect to his comments about Obama. The presidential power couple had been reported to be getting along pretty well after meeting at the White House and speaking over the phone in the weeks since the election.
"I'm surprised at how well we get along," Trump says of his conversations with Pres Obama.

Trump himself reported having “great chemistry” with Obama after their first official meeting. “Melania like Mrs. O a lot!” he added via Twitter.
A fantastic day in D.C. Met with President Obama for first time. Really good meeting, great chemistry. Melania liked Mrs. O a lot!

Unfortunately, as is the case with many of Trump’s relationships, the initial chemistry, the fire and the romance, could not last. One must wonder if the budding bromance between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin is doomed to suffer a similar fate.
