Though the Trump kids have recently called themselves Republicans, their political contributions show longstanding support for Democrat candidates.

Ivanka, who hopped over to the Republican Party in November 2015, gave more than $83,000 directly to candidates and committees—and 92 percent of that went to Democrats, including Hillary Clinton, Cory Booker, Charles Schumer, Kirsten Gillibrand and Eleanor Norton Holmes. She also gave to the Democratic Congressional and Senatorial Campaign Committees.

Though Ivanka chose not to enroll in a political party between 2006 and 2015, she did support some Republicans by giving to joint fundraising committees during presidential elections. In 2012, she gave $75,000 to Romney Victory Inc., and four years earlier, she gave $5,400 to the McCain Victory Committee.

Eric Trump, who also missed the cutoff to register to vote in the New York Republican primary, may be more right-leaning, if his political contributions are any indication.

He gave $75,400 to committees supporting Romney and McCain, also supporting Rudolph Giuliani’s presidential committee. Charles Schumer was the only Democrat backed, with a $1,000 contribution in 2010.

In contrast, while Donald Trump Jr. wasn’t a big political spender, he supported only Democrats, giving $6,000 over the past decade.

National Leadership PAC, which supported only Democrats, received a $5,000 contribution from Donald Jr. in 2006, and Chuck Schumer got $1,000 in 2010.

Tiffany Trump hasn’t donated to any political candidate or committee, FEC records show.
