Donald Trump will be sworn in as president Friday, ushering in a new era of American Greatness. President Obama will no longer be president, meaning he can go back to being a community organizer and serial memoirist.

You probably couldn’t tell from looking at the low-energy crowds in Washington, D.C., that America is about to be great again. Some observers noted Friday morning that D.C. “feels like a ghost town,” the small crowd of revelers (compared to Obama’s inauguration) has been thinned further due to the threat of rain.

D.C. Metro riders have been tweeting photos of empty subway cars ahead of the swearing-in ceremony. Elsewhere in the capital, Bikers for Trump are cruising the city down empty streets past small groups of anarchist protestors.

Trump and his wife, Melania, met the Obamas for tea at the White House ahead of the main event. The Donald was photographed planting a big fat kiss on First Lady Michelle Obama’s cheek.

Hillary Clinton and her nominal husband, Bill, arrived to suffer the final humiliation of her political career. Many liberals are upset with Hillary for attending the inauguration ceremony, rather than join the dozens of Democratic lawmakers boycotting to protest Trump’s “illegitimate” electoral victory.
