A grandmother in Richmond, Virginia, chose “to pass into the eternal love of God” rather than deal with a 2016 general election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, according to her obituary:

It’s hardly the first time politics have found their way into the obituary pages. The April 2015 death announcement for an 81-year-old grandfather in North Carolina included the line: “The family respectfully asks that you do not vote for Hillary Clinton in 2016.”
