Wealthy NYC Residents Vote to Curb Rich-People Traffic Jams In Front of Trump Child’s School

Wealthy residents on the Upper West Side of Manhattan have endorsed new measures to curb traffic jams caused by the town cars and SUVs of rich parents having their kids dropped off and picked up at the fancy private school attended by Donald Trump’s youngest son.

The changes, which include a sign banning left turns at an intersection near the school, were initially approved during a community board meeting in June, and are beginning to take effect now. Some wealthy residents were concerned that the changes could lead to the blockage of a nearby bike lane, so the new measures will be reevaluated after a 6-month trial period.

One traffic study that was considered by the community board found that nearly 60 percent of students at the fancy private school (the most expensive in New York City) arrive via car, as opposed to more environmentally friendly means such as public transportation or walking.

On student who gets driven over from the Upper East Side (often with his mother) is 10-year-old Barron Trump. Earlier this year, the Daily Mail published photos of Melania Trump, a former supermodel from Slovenia, picking up Barron at the fancy Manhattan private school.
