Donald Trump did something Wednesday that many assumed he had already done. He put Breitbart chairman Stephen Bannon in charge of running his presidential campaign.

Trump also promoted pollster Kellyanne Conway, while diminishing the role of his sometime campaign manager and oligarch consultant Paul Manafort. From here on out, the campaign will stop trying to “pivot” and simply “let Trump be Trump.”
Such a bold “shake up,” as the media insists on calling it, could very well ensure Trump’s victory over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in November.
But probably not.
Almost definitely not.
