Femen, the radical feminist movement from Ukraine, is making the waves ahead of the upcoming inauguration of Donald Trump this week. In Madrid, a topless Femen activist jumped security ropes to grope a life-sized statue of Donald Trump.
Reenacting Trump’s infamous “grab her by the p*ssy” line, which he said on a hot mic in a 2006 show with Howard Stern, the half-naked woman attacked the life-sized statue’s crotch during an unveiling ceremony at the Madrid waxwork museum.
The topless activist had the words “GRAB PATRIARCHY BY THE BALLS” written on her back and posed for photos, which were later posted on Femen’s official Twitter account.
Per a Reuters report, museum security spent several minutes attempting to restrain the activist before eventually escorting her out through the back door.
Speaking for the museum, Gonzalo Presa called the protest “unpleasant” and said he’d hoped to give Trump a “special welcome.”
“If they want to do this they should do it directly to him,” he said to a Reuters reporter. “This is too easy.”
The wax figure took three days to complete and bears a striking resemblance to the President elect, accurately detailed down to his signature hairstyle.
Femen continues to make the news with stunts involving female nudity. The organization’s protests of Russian president Vladimir Putin captured him giving a topless activist a double thumbs-up.
