Bill and Hillary Clinton has always run with a sketchy crew. One of their closest political allies, Virginia governor Terry McAuliffe, is currently under FBI investigation for potentially accepting unlawful campaign contributions. Many of their associates have spent time in jail. At least one is a convicted sex criminal.

Everyone knows the Clintons got their start in Little Rock, Ark., but it’s been a while since we heard about the original “Little Rock crew” of aides and operatives who took Washington, D.C., by storm in the early 1990s.

Here’s a look at what some of the more memorable figures are up to now.
Susan McDougal
Who: An old friend of the Clintons who served time in jail for refusing to testify about Bill Clinton’s role in the infamous Whitewater scandal.
Where is she now? After receiving a full pardon from President Clinton in 2001, McDougal became an advocate for prison reform, and wrote a book: The Woman Who Wouldn’t Talk: Why I Refused to Testify Against the Clintons & What I Learned in Jail. She currently works as a supervisor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Webb Hubbell
Who: Hillary Clinton’s former law partner, served top roles in the Clinton administration, forced to resign as associate attorney general, served time in jail after pleading guilty to tax and wire fraud. Suspected by some conspiracy theorists of being Chelsea Clinton’s real father.
Where is he now? Hubbell lives in Charlotte, N.C., where he writes novels. His latest work, A Game of Inches, will be released in June. Tagline: “Believe it or not, murder is just the tip of the iceberg.”
Vince Foster
Who: Also a former law partner of Hillary’s, Foster served as Deputy White House Counsel in the Clinton administration before his (alleged) suicide in 1993.
Where is he now? N/A
Bruce Lindsey
Who: Arkansas attorney who served as national campaign director in 1992 and later as a senior adviser to the president.
Where is he now? Lindsey serves as chairman of the board at the Clinton Foundation.
Mack McClarty
Who: Arkansas businessman and former White House chief of staff, a lifelong friend of Bill’s; helped create NAFTA.
Where is he now? Like many former White House operatives, he’s the chairman of some nebulous investment and “strategic advisory” firms.
Skip Rutherford
Who: Served as state Democratic Party chair while Bill Clinton was governor of Arkansas, advised on both presidential campaigns, founding president of the Clinton Foundation.
Where is he now? He’s the dean of the Clinton School of Public Service at the University of Arkansas.
Roger Clinton, Jr.
Who: Bill’s eccentric half-brother, failed actor and musician. Secret Service nickname: “Headache.”
Where is he now? Just like when he was getting paid to lobby his half-brother for pardons in the late 1990s, Roger continues to make money peddling his connections to power. He was paid $100,000 to (unsuccessfully) lobby the Clinton Foundation for a housing contract in earthquake-ravaged Haiti on behalf of a Houston developer. He drives a vintage blue Ford Mustang.
