Senator Ted Cruz is, in my view, the likely Republican nominee. Donald Trump is detested by the GOP rank and file and has massive unfavorables. He continues to insult the grassroots delegates who will decide the nomination by calling them the party elite.

Ted Cruz has now backed Britain in the event of the UK’s exit from the EU – insisting that under his Presidency, the Special Relationship would be deepened and strengthened.

Ted Cruz will find a lot of grateful Brits for both his slam of Obama – and his backing for America’s greatest ally.

This weekend, President Barack Obama provoked rage in Great Britain by interfering in the ‘Brexit’ referendum on Britain leaving the EU, to be held on June 23. He insulted America’s ally by stating that the UK would be ‘at the back of the queue’ [sic] for a deal with America if Britain left the troubled EU block of nations, overwhelmed at present by the migrant crisis and a crushed Greek economy.

Britain is already outside the Eurozone. She will pay Brussels a net £11.7 bn – roughly $16.5 bn  – this year alone.
