STAMINA WATCH: Hillary Clinton’s First Speech Since Collapse Lasts Just 23 Minutes

Hillary Clinton spoke at a campaign rally Thursday, her first public appearance since her near-collapse at a 9/11 anniversary rally over the weekend. The candidate had been convalescing for several days after revealing that she had been diagnosed with pneumonia.

Clinton’s speech in Greensboro, N.C., lasted a mere 23 minutes, which is significantly shorter than the 40-minute address delivered by Donald Trump in New York earlier in the day. She told supporters that her time off had allowed her to “reconnect with what this whole campaign is all about.”

In the mind of some voters, probably, the 2016 campaign is about one word: Stamina. If a majority of Americans feel that way come November, Hillary Clinton is in trouble.

A recent Heat Street analysis found that Donald Trump is likely to possess greater stamina than Hillary Clinton due to the fact that his major speeches are typically longer.

Trump’s campaign confirmed the Heat Street analysis in a medical note unveiled Thursday on The Dr. Oz Show.

“We are pleased to disclose all of the test results which show that Mr. Trump is in excellent health, and has the stamina to endure — uninterrupted — the rigors of a punishing and unprecedented presidential campaign and, more importantly, the singularly demanding job of President of the United States,” the campaign said in a statement.

Vice President Joe Biden has also been known to exhibit stamina.
