UPDATE:

Donald Trump fired back at the Terminator during the National Prayer Breakfast on Feb 2 for “Celebrity Apprentice’s” smaller audience since Schwarzenegger took over as host. “The ratings went right down the tubes…a total disaster!” said Trump. “I want to pray for Arnold is we can, just for those ratings.”

(No news on if the President consulted God when the ratings began slipping when he was the one firing people.)

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter, Katherine, said Tuesday she thinks that the travel ban on citizens from some Muslim-majority countries is “crazy and makes us look stupid” — as her father, who replaced Trump on Celebrity Apprentice, told reporters earlier this week.

Katherine is the eldest daughter of Arnold — the Republican former governor of California who emigrated here when he was 21 — and his journalist ex-wife Maria Shriver.

Just a few months ago, Katherine had said she hoped that President Trump would be a unifying force:“I hope and pray that he sees the divide in our country and decides to try bring us together to become stronger and the greatest America we can be,” she wrote on Instagram just after the election. “What we need to do now is LOVE.”

But her views seemed to change pretty quickly. She tweeted “he’s too crazy” in late November, after Trump’s unproven claims that he would have won the popular vote if not for illegal voters.

She subsequently attended the Women’s March in Los Angeles on Jan 21 with her mother and also actress Jane Fonda and pop star Mandy Moore. “It was empowering to be at a historic event where we came together to fight for women’s rights,” she said Tuesday in an interview.

The executive order issued over the weekend was also personal for Schwarzenegger, who grew up hearing stories about her Austrian-born dad’s journey to America as an ambitious bodybuilder. “He came over here and worked really hard, so he loves the value of America,” the 27-year-old lifestyle blogger tells us.

When she’s not talking politics on Twitter, the Governator’s daughter shills toilet paper. She was in New York to promote using Febreze air freshener and Charmin tissues for this weekend’s Super Bowl. “We had all kinds of parties when we were growing up,” says Schwarzenegger, who says “the key [to a good party] is the bathroom.” That’s especially the case if you have a custom-made golden toilet seat like what the two brands gifted her.

Schwarzenegger, whose father is worth an estimated $300 million, says she speaks to her family every day and has the same problems as everyone else. “I talk to them about the experiences that every 27-year-old goes to parents about,” she says.

Her next project? A children’s book about rescuing dogs.
