Hollywood actress and left-wing activist Susan Sarandon is not a fan of Hillary Clinton. Like many Bernie Sanders supporters, Sarandon was not pleased when liberal darling Elizabeth Warren announced her endorsement of Hillary Clinton, and issued a snarky replied to a tweet from Warren taking aim at the influence of big money in politics.
Is this meant to be ironic after you just endorsed Clinton??? https://t.co/UJxcSywfKk

Sarandon and others have argued that Warren’s endorsement of Clinton is particularly ironic given the extent to which Hillary Clinton has courted and accepted enormous sums of money from Wall Street and corporate interests over the course of her political career.

Clinton has also personally profited by giving speeches to Wall Street institutions, as Green Party candidate Jill Stein pointed out on Twitter.
My Senator @elizabethforma has endorsed a politician who won't release her $675K Goldman Sachs speeches. How incredibly disappointing.

In fact, even Elizabeth Warren has accused Hillary of being a puppet controlled by corporate donors.

Unlike Bernie Sanders, Clinton has eagerly courted big donors and funding for her Super PAC, Priorities USA. Sanders fans have been voicing their displeasure with Warren’s endorsement on social media, calling the Massachusetts senator a “sellout” and a fake progressive. One young fan even burned an Elizabeth Warren t-shirt in disgust.
Sarandon has said that Sanders should remain in the race because, among other reasons, Hillary Clinton is going to be indicted on felony charges after the FBI concludes its investigation into her email practices as secretary of state.
