Conservative talk radio host Michael Savage was attacked in a Bay Area restaurant last night, according to TMZ.

A man threw Savage to the ground after calling him a “weener” (a reference to Savage’s legal last name). He even shoved Savage’s adorable poodle, Teddy. When another man tried to get between the two, the attacker punched that guy in the face too.

Savage is one of Donald Trump’s favorite radio personalities and is a frequent guest. TMZ speculates the attack could be Trump related.

Savage and the attacker both tried to “citizen’s arrest” each other, but both were released by police without charge. Savage claimed the man knew who he was and had “beef” with him.
