Putin Defends Trump Against ‘Golden Shower’ Allegations: ‘Why Would He Need Prostitutes?’

Vladimir Putin himself has now defended Donald Trump against unsubstantiated allegations that the U.S. president-elect participated in a “golden showers” urination party with prostitutes in a posh Moscow hotel room.

“Trump organized beauty contests,” Putin said Tuesday in Russia. “I find it hard to believe that he rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world.”

According to an unverified report from a former British intelligence operative, the Russian government is in possession of compromising footage of Trump ordering prostitutes to urinate on a bed in the Moscow Ritz-Carlton where President Obama once stayed.

Putin dismissed the report as “an obvious fake,” and said the Russian intelligence services “don’t chase every American billionaire” or spy on them in hotel rooms.

The Russian president added that he thought it was unlikely Trump would ever engage in such perverse behavior. The real estate tycoon “has been with the most beautiful women in the world,” Putin said. “So why would he need prostitutes in Moscow?”

Trump has also dismissed the “golden showers” portion of the unverified intelligence report, noting his obsession with cleanliness. “I’m very much of a germaphobe,” he told reporters last week.
