Donald Trump’s running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, is taking heat for his recent assertion that Russian President Vladimir Putin “has been a stronger leader in his country than Barack Obama has been in this country.”
Trump has made similar comments in the past. When asked about Putin in an interview on MSNBC’s Morning Joe last year, Trump said: “At least he’s a leader, unlike what we have in this country.”
Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin: The Forbidden Bromance (Video)
Trump and Pence might be on to something, according to a Heat Street analysis. Here are seven ways Vladimir Putin is a stronger leader than Barack Obama.
1) Shirtless physique
Can we stop talking about this election for a second and admire Obama shirtless#IWishIWasMichelleRN pic.twitter.com/01s8PnHULX

Obama looks healthy enough, but Putin wins easily on style.

2) Means of conveyance
Putin rides a stallion like a sturdy cowboy on the frontier. Obama wears a helmet on his bike like some city dad popping down to the juice bar.

3) Athletic ability

Obama plays golf (badly). He play ping pong in a tie. He doesn’t know how to throw a baseball like a normal human being. Putin, on the other hand, plays one of the manliest sports (hockey) and scores all the goals.

4) Survival skills

Obama gets handed a fish that got stuck in a net, while Putin uses his long rod to snare his catch.

5) Hobbies

Obama tinkers with marshmallow cannons in his spare time, while Putin inspects the 125mm smoothbore cannon on an actual T-90AM tank.

5) Dog play

Obama’s dogs are hypoallergenic house pets. Putin’s dogs are cuddly studs.

6) Real estate

The White House is a decent primary resident, but it’s got nothing on Putin’s epic $1 billion palace at Cape Idokopas.

7) Winter fashion

This one’s not even close.

So, what do you think?
