Hillary Clinton trails presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump in Ohio and is virtually tied with the eccentric billionaire in the key swing states of Florida and Pennsylvania, a recent Quinnipiac University poll found.
Polls this far out from the election are basically meaningless, but these results are interesting when compared to a Quinnipiac poll taken at this same point in 2012.
The favorability numbers from the Q poll are pretty devastating for Hillary.
The “honest and trustworthy” numbers are even worse. They are, in fact, astonishingly bad, even if the poll itself is an outlier.
Respondents rated Trump worse than Clinton on matters of intelligence, temperament, and moral standards, but gave him a double-digit advantage with respect to handling the economy.
The polling averages, meanwhile, still show Hillary with a comfortable lead.
