President Obama and Hillary Clinton unleashed fury on presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump during separate public appearances on Tuesday, slamming the billionaire mogul for his “dangerous” and “nonsensical” response to the deadly terrorist attack at a gay bar in Orlando.
Obama made his remarks following a National Security Council briefing at the Treasury Department, while Hillary Clinton was speaking at a planned campaign event in Pittsburgh.
Obama: "Do Republican officials actually agree with [Trump's Muslim ban and anti-immigrant rhetoric]? …that's not the America we want."

Obama slams Trump’s “rhetoric” and “loose talk” and “sloppiness about who exactly we’re fighting” as dangerous, cites banning Muslims

Hillary Clinton used some of her strongest rhetoric yet to denounce Trump’s call for ban on Muslim immigration.
Trump's rhetoric is shameful.
It was one thing when he was a reality TV personality. It’s another when he’s running for president.

Americans don’t need conspiracy theories and pathological self-congratulations. We need leadership, common sense, and concrete plans.

Trump's Muslim ban is wrong, dangerous, and in this instance, nonsensical. The terrorist in Orlando was born in Queens—just like Donald.

Trump's statements are lies—but he tells them because he has to distract from the fact that he has nothing substantive to say for himself.

You can be sure that Trump will be responding shortly.
