Senior White House adviser Kellyanne Conway made a splash at her boss Donald Trump’s inauguration, arriving to the event in what she termed “Trump Revolutionary” chic – a $3600 blue and white Gucci jacket paired with red accessories.
The wool, A-line coat is part of Gucci’s current ready-to-wear collection, and features carved lion buttons arrayed in a military style, and a matching wool belt.

When asked about her outfit, Conway even gave a little salute, clearly prepared not just for her most patriotic of jobs, but also in case she is suddenly conscripted into a musical number.
The coat, which first appeared on Gucci’s Resort 2017 runway, was inspired by London’s Westminster Abbey, according to Gucci’s lead designer, Alessandro Michele. Michele celebrated the city of London with his Resort 2017 collection, and the show was held at Westminster Abbey itself, a first for the centuries-old landmark.
Which makes it either a tad ironic – or wholly appropriate – that Conway is wearing it for a “revolutionary” Inauguration.
Conway paired her look with what appears to be a Louis Vuitton Alma handbag in red, textured “Epi Leather,” which retails for approximately $2,000, depending on size.
