Washington real estate sources told the Washingtonian that Ivanka Trump and family will soon move into a mansion at 2449 Tracy Place, NW, in the Kalorama neighborhood, just a short walk from the 8,200-square-foot mansion where the Obama’s are planning to move.
Ivanka and Jared will have plenty of room in the 6,900-square-foot, six-bedroom abode, which reportedly sold on December 22 for $5.5 million, down from the original list price of $5.9 million. It is not known whether Ivanka and Jared purchased the house themselves or if they are renting from another buyer.
Trump’s daughter and family will be the Obama’s neighbors for at least a few years. The outgoing president and his wife are planning to remain in Washington, D.C., until their youngest daughter, Sasha, graduates from Sidwell Friends School, a fancy prep academy for rich kids.
