Former President Barack Obama had barely boarded Executive One when he re-activated his @BarackObama Twitter account and began using the social media platform to promote his post-Presidential retirement agenda.
The “bio” still says “President,” but Obama seems happy to be on vacation.
Hi everybody! Back to the original handle. Is this thing still on? Michelle and I are off on a quick vacation, then we’ll get back to work.

“Work” means “The Obama Foundation,” which officially launched today with a YouTube video featuring the former Commander-in-Chief and his wife, Michelle, discussing what’s next.
The Obamas say they want to empower citizens to “create change,” but for right now, they’re focusing on building the Presidential archives, creating the Presidential Library, and developing the Presidential Center—all of which will be located in Chicago.
They’re also taking suggestions from the Internet on what their focus should be, which could mean the operation will eventually be focused on arguing about whether feminists should make video games or preserving the memory of Harambe.
Obama and his wife will spend the next week to 10 days in Palm Springs at the home of his former Ambassador to Spain. He will return to DC in February, to Washington’s posh Kalorama neighborhood, where he will continue to work on policy until his youngest daughter graduates from high school.
