Donald Trump, who owns the legendary estate of Mar-a-Lago on Florida’s eastern coast, took to social media to express his concern.
Praying for everyone in Florida. Hoping the hurricane dissipates, but in any event, please be careful.

As it turns out, Hurricane Matthew is heading straight for Mar-a-Lago, and President Obama isn’t doing anything to stop it.

Trump has previously expressed displeasure at how President Obama has exploited hurricanes for political advantage. In 2012, Trump predicted that the destruction of Superstorm Sandy would help Obama win reelection over Mitt Romney.
Hurricane is good luck for Obama again- he will buy the election by handing out billions of dollars.

Trump even graciously offered to extend the deadline for his $5 million charity challenge to the president in light of the hurricane. Trump had offered to donate to a charity of Obama’s choice if the president released his college transcripts.
Because of the hurricane, I am extending my 5 million dollar offer for President Obama's favorite charity until 12PM on Thursday.

Will Mar-a-Lago survive the hurricane? The Palm Beach Daily News reports that “the elaborate mansion-turned-private-club has weathered its share of hurricanes since it was completed in 1927,” and when it comes to enduring vicious storms, Mar-a-Lago “is about a rock-solid as it gets.”
Thank goodness.
