Huma Abedin has been out of the public eye since her longtime boss, Hillary Clinton, lost her bid for the presidency in November. But it seems she’s traded hanging out with a losing scandalous presidential candidate for hanging out with a winning (television) one.

This weekend, Huma was spotted by TMZ cameras enjoying the sights and snacks of Disneyland with Scandal‘s President Fitzgerald Grant, Tony Goldwyn, and his family.

The group, which included Goldwyn’s wife and Huma’s son from her marriage to Anthony Weiner, enjoyed ice cream and took a ride through the park’s Splash Mountain attraction.

Goldwyn, of course, plays the scandal-plagued President Fitzgerald Grant, on Scandal. Last season’s finale left off with him leaving office—and his beloved Olivia Pope (played by Kerry Washington), who served as his right-hand woman during his own Presidential campaign, digging up dirt on his opponents and serving, briefly as his communications director, before they started a romantic affair.

TMZ claims Abedin and Goldwyn, as well as his wife, producer Jane Michelle Musky, got to know each other during Clinton’s presidential campaign and became fast friends. Abedin accompanied her boss, who was facing her own private email scandal at the time, on a visit to the set of the hit show.

Goldwyn also headlined an ironic, Scandal-themed fundraiser for the Clinton campaign, where donors could mingle with the show’s cast, and a handful of Clinton aides who were under investigation—and facing potential legal and criminal consequences—for their role in Clinton’s use of a private email server while serving as Secretary of State.

Goldwyn’s wife has given more than $15,000 in campaign contributions to Democratic candidates and special interests. The pair gave the maximum amount to Clinton’s presidential campaign in 2016.

Huma’s former husband, Anthony Weiner, is not enjoying life with any famous friends. Prosecutors are reportedly weighing charging him with possession of child pornography, as part of a probe into an Internet relationship he had with a 15-year-old girl.
