Panicked Hillary Clinton supporters burst into tears and flooded out of her victory party as it became increasingly clear that Donald Trump had clinched the presidency.

The mood among Hillary Clinton supporters gathered at the Javits Center in Manhattan for the campaign’s Election Night party turned from happy, to glum, to devastated. There were even reports of people leaving the party “in tears.”
“There are people who are just in shock,” CNN’s Brianna Keilar reported. “They are just stunned.”
