Hillary Clinton was recently asked for her thoughts on a Wall Street Journal report detailing the Obama administration’s $400 million cash payment to Iran just as four American hostages were being released. The White House denies the payment was a “ransom.” Hillary, who has touted her role in negotiating the controversial nuclear deal with Iran, dismissed the story as “old news” because some aspects had already been reported earlier this year.
Hillary says practically every time she is asked about one of her numerous scandals — Emails, Benghazi, Clinton Foundation, etc. — which can be hard to keep track of sometimes. It’s all part of the Clinton strategy. First, you do something scandalous and hide the evidence as best you can. If and when you eventually get caught, stonewall for as long as possible to thwart investigators, so that when the details come out months or even years from now, you can simply dismiss the whole thing as “old news.”
