If you’re like many Americans, you’ll need a good stiff drink after you cast your vote for President of the United States. But what if your polling place is in unfamiliar territory — and you can’t find anywhere nearby to drown your electoral sorrows?

Foursquare, the “location intelligence company,” that makes the Foursquare and Swarm apps, has you covered. A special election day feature (for both your smart phone and your PC), will show you not just where to cast your ballot, but also the nearest location for post-poll adult beverages.

To start, go here and punch in your address (we used our Chicago newsroom address for authentic results).

Foursquare then recommends some of the most-trafficked places in your neighborhood, usually within walking distance of your polling place. If you’re not a fan of day drinking, the app will also suggest coffee places, places to get high-fat foods like donuts, highly recommended restaurants, and even ice cream parlors.

If you’re willing to make a little extra effort, you can cross-reference Foursquare’s suggestions with this list of restaurants, bars and convenience stores offering election day specials (Krispy Kreme donuts are free with your “I voted” sticker).

Uber and Lyft are also offering Election Day specials: Lyft will give you 45% off your ride if they take you to vote, and Uber will give you $20 off your ride if you’re using the app for the first time. They can be your designated drivers.
