Seeking political advantage in the wake of the deadly terror attack at a gay club in Orlando, presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump responded “bigly.”
Among other things, the billionaire mogul reiterated his proposed ban on Muslim immigration and suggested that President Obama was a supporter of the terrorist group ISIS.
When the Washington Post reported on Trump’s comments linking Obama to ISIS, Trump lashed out, calling the report “incredibly inaccurate.” He then revoked the Post‘s press credential for his campaign events. The next day, however, Trump tweeted a link to a Breitbart article insisting that he was right all along about Obama actively supporting terrorism.
Trump’s unfavorable rating among Americans recently hit an all-time high of 70%.
