Former Vice President Dick Cheney wowed observers on Inauguration Day in Washington, D.C., sporting a stunning cowboy and looking forever fierce as he joined the crowd of dignitaries gathered to witness the swearing in of President-elect Donald Trump.
Even the nerds at Vox were impressed by Cheney’s headwear. “General agreement in the @voxdotcom newsroom that the Cheney cowboy hat kinda owns,” politics editor Jim Tankersley wrote on Twitter.
Senior White House adviser Kellyanne Conway garnered a lot of attention from fashion critics for her “revolutionary chic” inauguration outfit, but many seemed to agree that Cheney was the real fashion icon of the day.
Hillary Clinton was also in attendance to witness the inauguration of the man who once threatened to throw her in jail. She wore a white smock and cap, which appeared to be modeled on the outfit worn by the bad guy in Rogue One.
