President Obama is hosting his final state dinner at the White House next week. The event will be headlined by singer Gwen Stefani, and Mario Batali, a “douchey” celebrity who wears Crocs.

Batali is an anti-fracking activist who douchily describes his restaurant business as an “ever-expanding empire of deliciousness.” He once compared Wall Street bankers to Nazis, and he regularly makes appearances with Democratic politicians.
Batali, for example, attended the Clinton Foundation’s annual meeting in New York City in 2015, and has personally donated as much as $100,000 to the controversial foundation. Chelsea Clinton is a big fan, having once said “It’s not hyperbole to say I could not imagine my life in New York or really my life in general without Mario.”
Batali was also featured on this list of “The 10 Douchiest Moments in Celebrity Chef History.” More than a hundred hardworking restaurant employees sued Batali in 2012, accusing the chef of stealing their tips, which is obviously illegal. The case resulted in a $5.25 million settlement.
Even worse, Batali wears Crocs AND cargo shorts — at the same time.
