CNN sister network HLN censored a pro-Donald Trump shirt worn by Steve Eckel, a New Jersey man who rescued a baby from a hot car.
HLN interviewed Eckel, a retired police officer, on Wednesday about the incident, which occurred in a Kohl’s parking low. After calling 911, Eckel broke the car’s window using a sledgehammer and rescued the four-month-old girl.
During the interview, Eckel wore a blue shirt with “2016 Trump for President” emblazoned on the front. HLN did not censor the shirt during their initial interview, but for whatever reason decided to blur the text of the shirt when the interview was rebroadcast about an hour later.
Donald Trump has routinely accused CNN of being biased in its coverage of his campaign.
This is no surprise. Constant phony reporting from failing @CNN turns everyone off. The American people get it! https://t.co/a1A6XMfYx1
