Hillary Clinton’s private email server was wiped clean less than a month after the New York Times first reported the existence of her private account (and server) in March 2015, according to new documents released by the FBI regarding their investigation into Hillary’s emails.
The New York Times report was published on March 2, 2015. According to the FBI documents, a Clinton tech staffer told the agency that he “had an ‘oh shit’ moment” between March 25 and March 31, during which he “deleted the Clinton archive mailbox” from the clintonemail.com server, and used a special software known as BleachBit to scrub the server of remaining files.
At least the staffer could recall accidentally wiping the server after its existence was exposed in the press. Hillary couldn’t seem to recall much of anything during her interview with the FBI.
And yet some members of the media, mostly the writers at Vox, just can’t fathom why so many people seem to assume the worst about scandals involving the Clintons.
I mean, seriously?
